Introduction:
"The Flower Chronicles" is an flower business operating in Cape Town, South Africa. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our virtual marketplace by customers ("Customers") and the provision of our services. By using our website and placing orders, Customers agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Our Privacy Policy, which governs the processing of Customer information, is incorporated herein by reference.
Products:
Product descriptions and images on our virtual marketplace are provided for informational purposes. Actual products may vary slightly due to factors such as seasonal availability. Customers are responsible for ensuring the suitability of products for their needs, including any allergies.
Order Processing:
Orders are processed upon receipt of full payment. Processing typically begins on the next working day for orders received on weekends or public holidays.
Pricing and Payment Options:
Payment options include credit/debit cards, electronic funds transfer (EFT), and direct deposit.
Delivery:
We offer delivery within specified areas in Cape Town, South Africa. Delivery times are dependent on product availability and may vary. While we strive for timely delivery, unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. Specific delivery times cannot be guaranteed.
Refunds/Returns Policy:
Customers may request a refund or replacement within a specified time frame if dissatisfied with their purchase. Refunds are subject to certain conditions and may not apply to all products, particularly perishable items.
In the event that we are unable to supply the flower product ordered, we shall notify you as soon as is reasonably possible and shall reimburse your payment in full within 48 business hours in case of an EFT payment or within 12 days if paid by credit card.
"The Flower Chronicles", nor any courier or carrier service utilized by The Flower Chronicles, shall be held liable for any failure to perform on an order due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. These circumstances may include, but are not limited to, adverse weather conditions (such as snow, flood, extreme winds), fire, explosion, accidents, traffic congestion, obstruction of private or public highways, riots, acts of terrorism, acts of God, or industrial disputes or strikes.
In the event of a complaint, the fees paid in respect of the order may be refunded or the order may be replaced, depending on the circumstances, and provided that the complaint was reported within 36 hours from the requested delivery date. Due to the nature of flowers and the responsibility of the recipient to care for them once delivered, no complaints will be accepted after this deadline has been reached. Complaints must be accompanied by a photograph of the product that is the cause of the complaint and sufficient details on the complaint to determine the appropriate remedial action required, if any.
Vouchers, Coupons, Promotions & Competitions:
Periodically, "The Flower Chronicles" may offer vouchers, coupons, promotions, or run competitions. These offers are subject to specific terms and conditions.
Use of Virtual Marketplace:
Customers agree to use our virtual marketplace for legitimate purposes only and not to engage in any unlawful activities or misuse of the platform.
Limitation of Liability:
"The Flower Chronicles" shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our virtual marketplace or products, except where prohibited by law.

Should any part of these Terms and Conditions be held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be unenforceable, the validity and enforceability of the remainder of the Terms and Conditions shall not be affected.
These Terms and Conditions constitute the whole agreement between the parties and no party shall be bound by any undertakings, representations, warranties, promises or the like not recorded herein.
